East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office seek information on car with possible link to deadly shooting in Glen Oaks area _lowres

Detectives with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office are looking for information on a vehicle that could be tied to a deadly shooting that happened June 12 in the Glen Oaks area.

Photos released Saturday show a white vehicle that detectives believe is a newer model Chevrolet Malibu LS, said Casey Rayborn Hicks, a Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

Torrance Tate, 27, died in surgery after he was shot around 5 p.m. on June 12 while sitting in his vehicle on Holiday Court. The shooter may have been “traveling in another vehicle,” Hicks said.
