A house on Voorhies Drive in Baton Rouge received heavy smoke and water damage during an early-morning fire Friday. Two people were at the home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters arrived at 343 Voorhies Dr. around 2:45 a.m. and found flames shooting through the roof of the home, according to a news release from the Baton Rouge Fire Department. Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 15 minutes.

Investigators said the fire started in the rear bedroom of the house in the attic. The cause of this house fire was undetermined, but foul play not suspected. Total damage was estimated at $105,000.
