Southern University will hold its “College Night on the Bluff” recruiting event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the F.G. Clark Activity Center on campus.

Southern spokesman Ed Pratt said prospective students can talk to professors, and learn about financial aid and housing at the event. High school juniors and seniors who meet certain academic requirements could be offered scholarships on the spot, he said.

Also, students who meet admissions criteria will have their names placed in a raffle in which they could win some scholarship funds and book vouchers.
