Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will be among the possible presidential contenders heading to Iowa in April to court conservative Christians during their annual “homeschool day” at the state Capitol, the Des Moines Register reports.
Jindal, who has made several trips to Iowa over the past year while weighing a run for the GOP’s nomination for president in 2016, will be joined by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania at the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators’ event April 9.
