Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is one of 16 Republican presidential candidates who has been invited to participate in CNN's debate on Sept. 16.
The network announced Tuesday morning that former First Lady Nancy Reagan has extended the invite for the CNN/Reagan Library event.
Besides JIndal, the invited candidates include Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham and George Pataki.
CNN said it'll divide its debate into two sessions, each having its own set of candidates. The network didn't specify which candidates would be grouped together but did note the sessions will be back-to-back. The latest FOX News debate separated its sessions by a couple of hours.
Anchor Jake Tapper will moderate the event, which will be held at the Air Force One Pavilion at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California.
