Gov. Bobby Jindal is in Colorado for the summer meeting of the Republican Governors Association, which he chairs.

Jindal left Baton Rouge on Tuesday and is not expected to return until Friday, according to a scheduling note released by his communications office.

RGA meetings are Wednesday and Thursday in the popular ski resort of Aspen.

Jindal caps his Colorado visit by participating Thursday night in the Aspen Institute’s McCloskey Speaker Series.

“Governors in Aspen: What’s Working at the State Level?” will be the discussion subject. Jindal will share the stage with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

The moderator will be Walter Isaacson.
