Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal almost left those in attendance at the First in the Nation Republican Leadership Summit wondering if they walked into the right convention Saturday in New Hampshire, opening his speech with a line straight from Hillary Clinton’s playbook, according to a report at the conservative Independent Journal Review website.
“I want to talk to you about the need for fairness in our tax code system,” Jindal began. “I want to talk to you about the need for the successful to pay more in taxes to the government.”
It was all a build-up to a zinger targeting Clinton over inaccurate claims she made about her family ancestry, which Jindal has slammed recently.
