Louisiana’s U.S. Senate race has yet to be decided, but the general public is pretty ambivalent about the GOP takeover following last week’s elections, at least according to a post-election survey by the non-profit, non-partisan Pew Research Center.

Pew found that, nationally, not quite half (about 48 percent) of people are happy about the new Republican majority in the Senate, while 38 percent are unhappy, leaving 14 percent somewhere in the middle or just all together apathetic.
