Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will travel to Shreveport and Monroe this week to highlight economic development efforts.
Jindal, who leaves office Jan. 11, dropped his run for president last month and vowed to spend some of his final days in office touring the state to highlight his administration’s accomplishments and gather feedback from residents.
On Tuesday, he’s scheduled to tour the Benteler Steel/Tube manufacturing facility in Shreveport and meet with employees.
On Wednesday, he’s going to tour the CenturyLink corporate headquarters in Monroe and visit with employees.
Jindal has served as Louisiana governor for the past eight years. He was unable to seek a third term because of term limits.
