It’s Day Two of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s all-out assault on Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, and Trump has again responded by making fun of Jindal’s low polling numbers.
After a speech at the National Press Club on Thursday in which he blasted Trump as “shallow” and an “egomaniac,” Jindal told CBS Evening News that Trump “looks like he’s got a squirrel sitting on his head.”
“I think he should stop attacking other people’s appearances,” Jindal said in reference to Trump’s reported slam at Carly Fiorina’s looks.
The dig earned Jindal another mention from Trump via Twitter Friday.
Jindal’s campaign, which this week appears to have shifted to full take-down Trump mode, quickly replied.
