Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is in Sea Island, Georgia, this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute’s secretive World Forum, but he’ll be missing out on a different conservative cattle call in Iowa on Saturday. bobby jindal aei

Jindal, who will speak to the AEI gathering on Saturday, is among several Republicans considering presidential bids in 2016 who are hitting up the influential conservative think tank’s event, which is seen as an opportunity to court wealthy donors.

Others who will take the AEI stage include New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, according to a report from Bloomberg. Former Vice President Dick Cheney and media mogul Rupert Murdoch also are scheduled to appear.

Jindal unveiled a foreign policy paper during an AEI event in Washington, D.C. in the fall.

Several of the AEI attendees/potential GOP 2016 candidates are also scheduled to also attend the Iowa Ag Summit on Saturday, but Jindal is skipping that event.
