Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal held a post-debate fundraiser in New Orleans Thursday evening, raising $350,000 for his presidential campaign.

The fundraiser was held at the home of Landfill magnate Fred Heebe on St. Charles Ave.

“The event shows his debate performance resonated with supporters in Louisiana who already know Governor Jindal’s record of cutting government and getting results. He enjoyed seeing old friends and giving them an update on the trail and the momentum we’re seeing in Iowa. He is always grateful for their support,” Jindal campaign spokeswoman Shannon Bates Dirmann said in an email.

In June, Jindal held a fundraiser in Baton Rouge and a campaign reception at the Louisiana Governors Mansion.

Jindal heads back to Iowa this weekend to campaign, after a presidential candidate forum in South Carolina this evening.
