Early voting for the Oct. 22 election began today, Oct. 8, and resumes Monday. Early voting runs through Saturday, Oct. 15.

The ballot includes races for five of Louisiana’s statewide elected officials, legislative seats and numerous local offices.

Voters can cast early ballots from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at these locations in East Baton Rouge Parish.

• Main Office: Room 201 of the Governmental Building, 222 St. Louis St.

• Southeast Office: Room 203 of Court Plaza Building, 10500 Coursey Blvd.

• Baker Office: Motor Vehicle Building, 2250 Main St.

• Satellite Office: Secretary of State Archives Building, 3851 Essen Lane.

Voters should bring a Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana special identification card or some other recognized photo ID and their voter registration card.
