To prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages and require the closure of the business selling alcoholic beverages on Sundays at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Monday, provided that the 10:00 p.m. Sunday closing time shall not apply to Super Bowl Sundays, a Sunday which is followed by either Memorial Day, Labor Day, the 4th of July or New Year’s Day, or if the Sunday is the 4th of July.

LIMIT SALE OF ALCOHOL

To prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages and require the clo-sure of the business selling alcoholic beverages on Sundays at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Mon-day, provided that the 10:00 p.m. Sunday closing time shall not apply to Super Bowl Sundays, a Sunday which is followed by either Memorial Day, Labor Day, the 4th of July or New Year’s Day, or if the Sunday is the 4th of July.

DISABLED VETERANS HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION

Authorizes an additional homestead exemption for certain disabled veterans and surviving spouses for property in West Baton Rouge Parish. The additional exemption would be authorized on the next $7,500 of assessed value on property owned and occupied by a veteran with a service-connected disability rating of 100% by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, and the surviving spouse.
