Certain fees charged by the secretary of state’s office could be going up.

The Louisiana House voted 78-8 for legislation authorizing increases in fees related to filing and recording of domestic corporations, limited liability companies, nonprofit corporations, foreign corporations, trade names, trade marks and service marks.

The increases range from $5 to $25.

A fiscal note projects a $2.8 million increase in annual revenues associated with the changes.
