Yes, it's OK to have a case of the Mondays. And, no, the weather isn't helping.

Dreary conditions will stick around Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette a few days this week before giving way to sunny skies.

Rain is expected to linger Monday morning then should move out by the afternoon. But clouds will remain all day. Highs will range from the mid 60s to around 70 degrees.

A cold front will head this way, and on Tuesday and Wednesday expect mostly cloudy days with lows in the 40s and highs in the 50s. There's a chance of rain (20-30%) those days too.

The sun peeks its way back Thursday along with a slight dip in temperatures. Lows will drop into the mid-to-upper 30s with a high around 50. The outlook for Friday is similar with temperatures expected to rise a few degrees.
