Forecasting winter weather is tricky, especially in the South. But one thing is certain -- it's about to get COLD and wet in south Louisiana.
According to the National Weather Service, a strong cold front will move through the Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas late Thursday night and into early Friday morning.
