Although south Louisiana woke up to blue skies Monday morning, there is still a slight chance of rain forecast today with heavy fog possible in some areas this evening, according to the National Weather Service.

The fog could be bad enough in some areas in Southeast Louisiana - including Baton Rouge and New Orleans - that visibility will be down to a quarter mile.

The rest of the week will see mild temperatures fluctuating between the 50s and 70s with another chance of rain coming in Wednesday and Thursday night for Baton Rouge and Thursday and Friday for Lafayette. New Orleans weather should stay clear until a slight chance of rain arrives in the area Friday.
