Here is a list of events canceled or postponed due to inclement weather expected in Baton Rouge for the rest of the week. 

-- The Holiday Lights Family Night event at Baton Rouge General, scheduled for Thursday, has been canceled. Lights will still go on at 5:30 p.m., but events including snow, a Santa visit, treats and musical performances have been canceled. Other Family Night events are planned for Dec. 14 and Dec. 21.

--The Kiwanis Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Denham Springs, scheduled for Thursday, has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14.

--The Reflections of the Season celebration at the West Baton Rouge Conference Center will not open on Thursday due to weather, WBRZ reported. It will reopen at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

--BREC's annual Caroling in the Park event, scheduled for Friday at City-Brooks Community Park, was canceled because preparations could not be completed due to weather conditions, WBRZ reported. Instead, BREC will hold a lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14. 

--The Garney Gautreau Senior Sock Hop at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, scheduled for noon Friday, has been canceled. It will not be rescheduled in December.

--The Old South Baton Rouge Developers Tour scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday has been rescheduled for Friday, January 12, 2018.
