BATON ROUGE PRESS CLUB: noon, De La Ronde Hall, 320 Third St., Garret Graves, Gov. Bobby Jindal’s executive assistant for coastal activities and chairman of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, will speak. Graves will discuss the challenge of preserving our coast, marshlands, barrier islands and fisheries from coastal erosion, hurricanes, oil spills, floods, manmade levees, rising sea levels, land subsidence and global climate change. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
