How absolutely absurd that any parishes in Louisiana still observe some form of alcohol restrictions on Sundays.

In regard to the story posted on Monday concerning the possible change to the ordinance in East Baton Rouge Parish restricting alcohol sales on Sundays, how about we move out of the dark ages and remove any prohibition on an American citizen of legal age to purchase alcohol anytime on Sunday?

What possible archaic reason can there still be to deny any grown adult the freedom to choose whether or not to purchase alcohol on any particular day at any particular time?

If the Metro Council is going to discuss the matter at all, try discussing how silly it is to have time and/or day restrictions at all.
