Response to Michael Hale’s criticism of George Will

It always amazes me how progressives (socialists) keep saying the rich don’t pay their fare share.

Given the fact that 47 percent pay 0, while 53 percent are paying 100 percent of all taxes, there’s something wrong with this picture.

What a silly analogy in that a person who earns $20 million ONLY pays $2 million in taxes compared with a person who earns $20,000 has to pay $2,000.

How about the person who earns $20,000 try to earn more money as opposed to progressive/liberals seem to always want to punish success and reward failure.

Maybe those who believe successful people should give their hard-earned money to those who don’t work should consider moving to Europe.

More importantly, the beginning of the downfall of the economy was the direct result of progressives insisting everyone should own a home, regardless of credit status, thus millions of loans made to people who had no ability to pay.

The result, of course, is that the good have to suffer for the bad.

We don’t need more regulations; we need to keep government out of private enterprise.

Can you think of any government-run programs that are successful?

A good model is the postal system. How is that working for you?
