The letter published Sept. 1 seems to have gone to the wrong address. I am sure that “Lake Urmia” was beautiful at one time.
Here in Louisiana, we also have a lot of our resources going away as is “Lake Urmia.” Since the assistant professor who wrote the letter is obviously living in Louisiana, it seems as though he should worry about something like coastal erosion, flood protection and deteriorating bridges and highways.
I am sure that he just addressed the letter to the wrong “Advocate.” Maybe he intended the one in Iran.
