This is in response to the push for gun control after the school shooting in Florida. The only one guilty here is the one who pulled the trigger. He made a conscious decision to take other people's lives. It was not law-abiding gun owners, not the NRA, not President Donald Trump or the Republican party pulling the trigger.

The cause, of course, is the attitude about cheapening of life in this country by such things as abortion and very low sentences for cold-blooded murderers. We have started killing the most innocent and protecting the most guilty. And I will tell all these "celebrities" that throwing money at a problem is not always the solution. In fact, in this instance, I am not exactly sure what they are giving money for. Unless it is the intent of these Hollywood liberals to take away another of our constitutional rights.

It is outrageous that this incident is being used to subtly attack the thousands of law-abiding gun owners in this country. If every gun were taken away from every law-abiding citizen in this country, it would not take a rocket scientist to figure out who would have all the guns besides the policemen. A criminal will obtain a gun if he wants a gun because he is a criminal.

Unless I can be assured by these gun control advocates that they have a plan to stop the growing criminal activity going on in this country, I will just hang on to my gun.
