I noticed an article in a recent Advocate that the premium for Medicare Part B will be increasing for 2018. The increase in Social Security benefits will be absorbed by this increase the same as it did last year. Senior citizens will suffer for this since we depend on Social Security benefits to survive on.

It doesn't seem fair that we are told that we will get a COLA increase and next we are told that we will have to pay higher Medicare premiums again this year. If only the powers that be would have to survive on meager Social Security benefits, I am sure that this would not continue to happen.
