Someone recently opined in The Advocate that we should replace monuments with what we seem to value in New Orleans today: firearms.

I’m a native New Orleanian, and I have seen changes here for more than three-quarters of a century. I never thought I’d see this action.

Too bad there wasn’t more than one level head on the divider-in-chief’s council.
