Re: June 17 letter to the editor, “PSC should stop T-Mobile takeover”

Let me get this straight:

A resident of Washington, D.C., writes a letter to the newspaper in Baton Rouge to let us know that she is opposed to the AT&T and T-Mobile merger?

And she mentions her organization is a competitor of these two companies?

Is this really news? Or even a surprise?

I would prefer that people living in Washington, D.C., stay out of the business of deciding what is good for Baton Rouge residents.

I am eager to see these two companies merge so that we can have better coverage, fewer dropped calls and more access to advanced technologies.

Maybe that isn’t something that is needed in Washington, but it sure is here.
