Letters: Media sees no wrong in Clinton _lowres

The chutzpah of the mainstream media in the wake of Hillary Clinton’s testimony to the Benghazi Committee is nothing less than breathtaking.

Evidence was presented that Clinton sent an email to her daughter stating that the attack on the embassy was not prompted by a video but was preplanned by Islamist terrorists. She said essentially the same thing to the Egyptian government by telephone.

She then went on a road tour during which she lied to the American people about this same issue. Most despicably, she lied to the family members of those killed in the attack.

After her testimony to the committee, the mainstream media declared a slam dunk for Clinton. Evidently, she could do no wrong in their eyes, and obvious lies are not a disqualifier. Perhaps in Clintonspeak we could say, “What does it matter?”
