This early March wintertime change to daylight saving time is unnecessary.

I’m seeing too many small children waiting in the dark to catch their school bus. Whatever the purpose is for changing the time this early, or what the government believes we are gaining, it’s not worth it. Congress and the president should take steps now to delay future daylight saving time changes at least until the end of March when the sunrise arrives 20 minutes earlier than now. Then, our schoolchildren won’t have to stand in total darkness.
