There are only a few months to go before the gubernatorial primary, and there is still no formidable challenger to the incumbent.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Has Gov. Bobby Jindal done such a stupendous job that not even his adversaries want change?

Or are they simply too busy with other things to worry about the most important position in the state?

Or has the Democratic Party in Louisiana finally grown so weak and ineffectual that it is willing to throw in the towel without a fight?

Wake up, Democrats! With growing unrest in our entire nation, now more than ever our elected officials need to know they are being watched and held accountable for their actions and decisions. And that they can always be replaced.

So step up, Democrats; find someone willing to face a tough challenge and give our great state the choice it deserves.

And show that reports of the Louisiana Democratic Party’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
