The fact that a charter school advocacy group ranked Louisiana second nationally in growth, performance and innovation is putting our state back on the map when it comes to education.

Usually, when people hear about New Orleans or Louisiana, the first thing that comes to mind is crime. Although, Louisiana’s future is brightening up when it is home to the kids of the future in great schools and getting great educations. This is showing that our state is improving and getting better since 2005 when Hurricane Katrina struck us.

We have done some rebuilding and growing together, and now our school systems are becoming a powerhouse nationally. This is great news for Louisiana.
