Once again a senseless tragedy has hit close to home and we all are seeking answers to explain why. Your coverage of the Lafayette theater shooting has been exemplary and thorough, yet I must express disappointment with one aspect.

Seeing such a large photo of pure evil and small thumbnail photos of angelic Mayci Breaux and Jillian Johnson is disrespectful to their legacies and families. The write-ups and tributes to their lives and the impact they made on their communities and families deserved front-page coverage, not that of a crazed killer. Your publication is better than that.
