It’s a shame politicians today are still elected by the amount of money they raise for their campaign funds, and not for what they can do for the state.

I would think someone with less contributed money would owe fewer favors, and be able to concentrate more on what the state needs, than someone trying to fulfill contribution favors and not do anything to help the state.

Maybe it’s time to start thinking outside the box and vote for someone who actually wants to help the state, and not just for someone because he or she has the most campaign money and exposure.

I know that’s how I’ll be voting this time.
