This may come a bit late, but, believe me, I am very interested in the outcome of privatizing our state employees’ health insurance plan. I see no valid reason to do so.

As you mentioned in your article, any company will necessarily need to turn a profit, and that will be reflected in higher premiums. My personal feeling on the matter is, I will vote against any politician I can who votes in favor of this change.

I am not enrolled in the PPO plan. While I have been in the past and may again enroll, I would like to know that the Office of Group Benefits will be there to administer the plan as it has for many years.
