It pains me to hear presidential candidates who chastise the persons who, either through education or hard work (or both), have become successful and accumulated wealth. These candidates criticize wealth and propose income equality, i.e. take from those who have and give to those who do not have. Would not our country be much better if it were taught that one can achieve wealth or a comfortable income by simply becoming educated or by working hard?

Further, education and successful work lead to less crime. If there were less crime, then there would be less need to worry about being possibly abused by policeman.

Sadly, rather than speak the truth and lose votes, these candidates will continue to pander to nonachievers so as to receive votes. What a shame for America!
