Since moving to Baton Rouge in 1975, traffic is discussed daily — in the newspaper, TV, over coffee, the work place, etc. Possibly, our state Legislature could pass a new tax of 1 cent for each word spoken about traffic and at least $500 for each traffic study. Problem solved!

I’m sure we can add the extra expense to have the words policed so we collect the revenue. Possibly we would even stop talking and do something.
