AT A GLANCE

Queen played running back predominantly during his first few seasons of high school before shifting to linebacker as a senior. He projects as an outside linebacker, and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda told Queen he would like to use him in the same role that the Tigers featured Deion Jones and Duke Riley.

HONORS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

As a junior, he rushed for 1,887 yards and 24 touchdowns. … As a senior, he had 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss, six pass break-ups, four sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

“He was the original linebacker commitment to this class and the only one for a long time. He’s a kid that really excels at all sports — a true athlete. He can play on the offensive or the defensive side for you, but they like him as that rover position on the defense. So I predict he’ll be a linebacker all the way.” — 247Sports’ Shea Dixon
