AT A GLANCE

After LSU introduced Matt Canada as offensive coordinator, Narcisse recommitted to the Tigers a week after he decommitted, then enrolled in January. Two ACL surgeries hampered the one-time Auburn commitment over his last two years at St. James, including missing his entire senior season, but the mobile left-hander should benefit from enrolling early.

HONORS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Narcisse was invited to the Under Armour All-America Game but did not practice or play. … As a junior, he returned from his first ACL surgery to lead St. James to three playoff wins and an appearance in the Class 3A nonselect title game. He totaled 601 yards and 10 touchdowns in that stretch. … As a sophomore, he threw for 2,012 yards and 27 touchdowns while running for 637 yards and 12 scores.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

“He has been considered one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks really in the country since he emerged early on in his high school career. Now he suffered ACL injuries in both knees, but he bounced back really well from the first one. And the thought process is he’ll do the same for the second. I think he adds a running and throwing threat to the offense, and I think he’ll be healthy enough for spring ball.”
