AT A GLANCE

LSU was the first program to offer Chaisson in the summer of 2015, something that he admits sent his recruiting into full throttle. He picked the Tigers over offers from Texas, Southern Cal and Florida, among several others. He’s a raw talent as he’s only played two full seasons of football. Many might compare him to the build and potential of Arden Key, LSU's pass-rushing specimen who broke the school's sack record last year. The Tigers tried to sell him as Key's replacement.

HONORS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Participated in the Under Armour All-America Game and tied the event record with three sacks. … Landed Defensive MVP honors as a junior in helping lead North Shore to a second state championship. … Led the state with 15.5 sacks as a junior.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

“Chaisson is a nightmare coming off the edge in passing situations. He has a great first step, he closes on the quarterback quickly and he is one of the best pass rushers in the 2017 class.” — Scout.com’s Chad Simmons
