Former LSU coach Les Miles is still on the market for his next coaching gig — and that may reside out West.

The former Tigers coach who was fired after a loss to Auburn last season has interest in the Oregon State head coaching job, sources told the Gazette Times

The Beavers (1-8) are currently led by interim coach Cory Hall after Gary Andersen and the school opted to part ways following a loss to Southern California earlier this season.

Miles coached LSU for 11-plus seasons, leading the Tigers to a national championship in 2007. Miles made a return to Tiger Stadium earlier this season at halftime of LSU's game against Auburn, where he and other members of the championship team were honored at midfield.
