Outstanding Player

Audrey Viso  ·  St. Joseph’s  ·  Center-Midfield  ·  Sr.

All of the Redstickers’ offense ran through Viso at some point this season. St. Joseph’s team captain was named the Division I, District 3 overall MVP, the Division I All-State offensive MVP and was the MVP of the LHSCA All-Star game. Viso will continue her soccer career at Clemson next season.

Adelaide Gaffney

Gaffney had 33 goals and 26 assists, making her the Division I, District 5 overall MVP. She was also first-team all-state.

Raghan Walker

Central · Forward · Fr.

The only freshman on the list. She scored a school-record 49 goals and led Central to its first playoff win in school history.

Lauryn Honore

St. Joseph’s · Centerback · Sr.

Honore was Division I, District 3 co-Defensive MVP and an all-star selection.

Coach of the Year

Chris Goodall  ·  East Ascension

Goodall is stepping away from high school soccer after 15 years as head coach of the Spartans. During that time, he won 214 games with his most recent district title coming in 2016. East Ascension beat West Monroe in the first round of the playoffs.


Valeria Gonzalez

East Ascension · Forward · Sr.

Gonzalez had 17 goals, 14 assists and a spot on the all-district list. She also scored the winning goal in the LHSCA All-Star game.

Amanda Hillard

Baton Rouge High · GK · Jr.

Hillard was a virtual wall, with 179 saves and 13 shutouts. She allowed 17 goals all year.

Mya Guillory

St. Amant · Center-Mid · So.

Scored 27 goals and had 28 assists for the Gators. Also the Division I, District 5 Offensive MVP.

Heather Hembree

Live Oak · Centerback · Sr.

The only local Division II player to be named to an all-state team, earning her second Division II, District 4 Defensive MVP award.

Bailey Cyprowski

Dutchtown · Center-Mid · Sr.

An all-district selection, Cyprowski was Dutchtown’s playmaker from the midfield. She had three goals and seven assists.

Alicia Carlos

Live Oak · Center-Mid · So.

Scored 33 goals and had six assists. Division II, District 4 Co-MVP and Co-Offensive MVP.

Hannah Williams

Baton Rouge High · Centerback · Sr.

Williams, a four-time all-district player, was a big cog on a defense that gave up 17 goals.

Meghan Johnson

St. Joseph’s · Forward · Jr.

The Redstickers’ leading scorer, Johnson was the Division I, District 3 Offensive MVP and was named to the all-state second team.

Alexis Stafford

Central · Defender · So.

Central only allowed 1.2 goals per game, and Stafford was a big part of that. She is a two-time, first-team all-district selection.

Cassandra Navarro

Baton Rouge High · Centerback · Jr.

Bounced back from an ACL injury in 2016 to be a part of Baton Rouge’s stingy defense. She was also an all-district selection.

Michaela Speligene

East Ascension · Defender · Jr.

This is Speligene’s second appearance on the All-Metro list and was also named to the all-district first team list this season.

Maggie Britton

East Ascension · Goalkeeper · Jr.

Britton had 11 shutouts, earning her a spot on the all-district team. This is her second appearance on the All-Metro list.

Ely was a physical presence for the Griffins up top, creating seven goals and 13 assists.

Division III, IV

Most Outstanding Player

Ally Garrity · Runnels · Midfield · Jr.

Garrity scored 38 goals and 12 assists on her way to an overall Division IV, District 4 MVP award this season and was named to the Louisiana Soccer Coaches Association Division IV all-state second team.

Offensive MVP

Jordan Percy

West Feliciana  ·  Midfield  ·  Sr.

Percy led the Division III Saints with 23 goals and nine assists, securing her second all-district honor.

Defensive MVP

Olivia Labarre

University · Defender · Jr.

The Division III, District 5 Overall MVP and an all-state selection, Labarre stepped up and made several clutch free kicks. She scored six goals and had four assists.

Coach of the Year

Matt Hanisee · Parkview Baptist

In his first year as head coach, Hanisee led Parkview to a 15-5-3 record and a berth in the Division III quarterfinals.


Kirby Miller

University · Midfield · Sr.

The Cubs team captain scored eight goals and provided three assists this season and was an all-district selection.

Molly Johnson

Runnels · Forward · Sr.

Johnson had 12 goals and 15 assists as a senior and was a first-team All-District selection.

Kirby Phares

Episcopal · Midfield · Sr.

Phares was voted first team all-district as a dynamic playmaker for the Knights, who made the Division III playoffs.

Manal Salameh

Christian Life · Forward · Jr.

Salameh had 19 goals and seven assists. She was voted Division IV, District 4 offensive MVP.

Alyssa McCarron

St. Michael · Goalkeeper · Sr.

McCarron led the Warriors to the Division III playoffs after earning first-team, all-district as a senior at St. Michael.

Haleigh Consterdine

Parkview Baptist · Centerback · Sr.

The All-Metro MVP in 2016, Consterdine finished her career at Parkview Baptist as a second-team all-state selection.

Brittany Segalla

St. Michael · Forward · Jr.

Segalla had 12 goals and two assists, putting her on the first-team all-district list.

Leanne Sorrel

Parkview Baptist · Forward · Jr.

Sorrel scored 12 goals, earning her Division III, District 5 Offensive MVP honors. She was also second-team all-state.

Lainee Alfonso

Runnels · Centerback · Jr.

Alfonso was named second-team all-state after scoring six goals and adding five assists out of Runnels’ back line.

Chaney Ray

West Feliciana · Goalkeeper · Sr.

The Saints keeper registered 112 saves and nine shutouts this season, earning her a spot on the all-district team.

Delaney Smith

University · Goalkeeper/Midfield · Sr.

Smith swapped back and forth between goalkeeper and midfield and was named to the all-district first team.

Jessica Segalla

St. Michael · Midfield · Jr.

Segalla scored nine goals and had eight assists for the Warriors. She was named to the all-district team.

Lilly Ray

West Feliciana · Forward · So.

Ray scored 16 goals and had five assists as a sophomore; she was was named to the all-district team.
