LSU remained at No. 12 in the Amway coaches poll released Tuesday.

The Tigers moved up one spot, to No. 12, in the AP poll, leapfrogging Auburn.

The Tigers beat BYU 27-0 in a season-opening win Saturday, but every other team in front of them won, aside from Florida State. The Seminoles, ranked third in the preseason, lost 24-7 to top-ranked Alabama.

Florida State, which lost starting quarterback Deondre Francois to a season-ending injury, took the biggest tumble to No. 9 in the coaches poll and No. 10 in AP. Clemson jumped to No. 3 in both polls.

LSU hosts Chattanooga on Saturday in the home opener before traveling to face Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are the 14th team in the receiving votes group.
