SCOUTING REPORT, Tennessee: Neely is enjoying a fine junior season for the Volunteers, and he has so far saved his best baseball for the Southeastern Conference. In four starts against league opponents, he is 2-1 with a 2.81 ERA.

SCOUTING REPORT, LSU: For the first time this season, LSU sent out the letters “TBA” (for to be announced) when it released its pitching plan for the weekend. It will be intriguing to see how this unfolds Sunday, but it helps that the Tigers pitching staff is deeper than was expected at the beginning of the season.
