It's early yet, but the LSU men's basketball team arguably hit rock bottom on Monday night, losing its third-straight game, 70-58, at College of Charleston.

At one point in the second half, the Tigers trailed by 24 points -- the same margin in which LSU defeated Charleston last season in Baton Rouge.

LSU -- a preseason top-25 team -- was seeking to snap a two-game losing streak after going 0 for 2 at the Legends Classic in Brooklyn. Instead, LSU's early-season misery continued against a team whose two losses this season are to Davidson and Coastal Carolina.

Below is a sampling of national media reaction to the loss.
