As expected, the LSU basketball team dropped out of both major polls on Monday following two losses in the Legends Classic in New York last week.

LSU, which is 3-2 going into Monday night’s game at the College of Charleston, fell out of the AP writers and broadcasters poll and USA Today coaches poll after losses to Marquette (81-80) and North Carolina State (83-72 in overtime) in the Legends Classic.

LSU was 22nd in the AP poll last week, but received just two votes this week. The Tigers were among those receiving votes in the USA Today poll, picking up 29 votes which would put them 30th after being 17th a week ago.
