It's no secret the position LSU is targeting in its late recruiting push for 2017.
The Tigers, as of Wednesday, have only one linebacker committed for the class of 2017: four-star Livonia product Patrick Queen, who is listed as an athlete.
LSU continues to press several linebackers -- some committed; other still undecided. The Tigers are thin at the position with the departure of seniors Kendell Beckwith and Duke Riley.

Gay, a four-star player from Starkville, Miss., is uncommitted and is drawing interest from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Michigan. He's set to visit LSU this weekend.

And they're winning national championships." Allen, a four-star prospect, completed what he called a "great" recruiting trip at LSU this past weekend and will be heading to Tuscaloosa this weekend to visit Alabama.

An uncommitted four-star linebacker from Richmond, Va., Brooks visited LSU's campus earlier this week. He holds offers from a slew of big schools. According to 247 Sports, his final official visit before national signing day will be to Notre Dame.
