IRVINE, Calif. — The LSU women’s tennis team (4-1) will take on UC Irvine (3-3) at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the UC Irvine Tennis Stadium.

“We have a great opportunity again (Monday) to play a very good UC Irvine team and build on the valuable lessons we took with us from our loss to Long Beach State,” LSU coach Julia S. Sell said. “I’m looking for our team to trust in the process (Monday) and be disciplined in their game style.”

The Lady Tigers lost to Long Beach State 5-2 Saturday.

Mary Jeremiah and Ariel Morton notched their fourth consecutive doubles win and third straight in the top position.

Seniors No. 112 Kaitlin Burns and Ebie Wilson scored LSU’s two points of the day with victories in singles, making Wilson 4-0 in singles this season.
