The LSU baseball team -- a.k.a. the fighting rally possums -- earned a well-deserved day off at the Southeastern Conference tournament Friday after beating Tennessee on Tuesday, Florida on Wednesday and Mississippi State on Thursday.

The No. 5-seed Tigers are back in action in the tournament semifinals Saturday around 3:30 p.m. against Florida, which defeated Mississippi State 12-2 in 7 innings.

Beginning Saturday, the tournament becomes single-elimination again. If LSU wins, the Tigers will play for the SEC tournament title at 2 p.m. Sunday. If LSU loses Saturday, the Tigers head back to Baton Rouge and await their NCAA tournament selection fate.

Saturday’s games will be televised on the SEC Network. Sunday’s title game will be on ESPN2. All games are available on the ESPN and WatchESPN app.

The NCAA tournament bracket will be unveiled Monday at 11 a.m. on ESPNU.
