From Tigers to Bears? It could happen, with longtime LSU coach Les Miles on the radar for the head coach post at Baylor.

Miles, who was fired in September after 11 seasons, has been vocal that he is not done coaching. He signed on with high-profile agent Trace Armstrong in October, and he's been confirmed as being on the "short list" for Baylor, according to a report from CBS Sports

Baylor's current head coach is Jim Grobe, 6-3 in his first season. Grobe took over after Art Briles was fired last season.

Other names linked to the job have been California's Sonny Dykes and North Carolina's Larry Fedora, according the report.

Miles is slated to receive $9.6 million in incremental buyout checks from LSU over the next six years, provided he actively seeks a new coaching position.

"I'm fighting like heck, trying to win a championship at another place," Miles said last month

Miles to CBS Sports that he is prepared to listen about any job in a Power 5 conference (SEC, Big 10, Big 12, ACC, Pac-12).
