LSU baseball's attempt to right the ship was not fruitful, resulting in an 11-4 loss to hand South Carolina the series win.

All hope is not lost, though.

Even after giving up two games, the Tigers (24-16, 9-8 SEC) are only a game back in the SEC West standings after Arkansas was swept by Mississippi State.

The Tigers will get a chance to improve that ranking Sunday afternoon in its series finale with South Carolina. First pitch is at 12:30 p.m.
